Colour Together
Hello and welcome! Do you ever want to connect with family and friends through art? Have you ever felt artistically challenged? Well I have the app for you! Hello my name is Phoebe, I have created an app which will cure your boredom during these difficult times. My app is called Colour Together, this is designed with the sole purpose and intention to bring people together through art. With 80% of the population being in lockdown social interactions are at an all time low, this app will allow increased social interactions with your friends and family, no matter how far apart you are. Colour Together is a imaginative, unique, creative game! It uses a range of different generated pictures, that can be spilt into either 6, 9 or 12 pieces. Each person within your group gets to ‘colour’ an individual piece, then once everyone has completed their piece the picture can be put back together as a whole. A feature of the app is that you can upload a personal photo to colour. This will make for some comical interpretations no doubt! Will you be inspired to colour in granny’s hair bright pink? I know i will!
So now that you have become familiar with my app let me tell you what is looks like. My apps logo has got a rainbow on it and has bold colours, it can also be found on ALL app stores on every type of phone (iPhone, Android, Huawei). Obviously, I’m sure you’re wondering how my app works. The idea of the app is to connect friends and family through art, where YOU the user can express your artistic side in a collaborative way! Some of these features include: -A group feature that will allow you to create a group chat in much the same way as you would on other apps such as ‘whatsapp’ -Once created the group can choose a picture, this can then be split into pieces according to how many people there are in your group because everyone wants the opportunity to get imaginative! Don’t they….? -You (the user can decide how to split the picture) from the different option available to you; such as boxes, diagonally or a random configuration. Which one will your group choose? The choice is yours! -Each group begins with the ‘standard’ range of colours: red, blue, green, yellow, purple, orange, pink, white and black; BUT the app has a competition feature that allows you to post your finished picture to get votes from other app users, the amount of votes received will translate into virtual coins that can be used to purchase additional colours (for example, metallics, pastel, bold and neutral). An incentive to stay playing the app, and to stay connected for longer. The app would be free to download on all app stores, but if you wanted a more personal photo you could pay 50 p to download a photo from your camera roll to colour in with friends! If you wanted to crop your photo you could pay an extra 20p. Another opportunity to make money would revolve around a printing feature where you can print the photos you create at a cost of £1 per photo ( the photos you print get posted to your address) The initial investment to create, market and advertise the product I would need £20,000, the investor can have a percentage of the money raised through the in-app purchases.
Well written, with many ideas, explanations, and a variety of vocabulary! Well done Phoebe.
