They erupt mostly in the ring of fire like the earthquakes.They are big mountains with a crater.The crater is filled with lava down to the core and shoot up lava when erupting.There are typed of volcanoes for example dormant.Dormant is a volcano that hasn’t erupted in the last 10,000 years.Extinct volcanoes are volcanoes that aren’t likely to erupt anytime soon.There are some famous volcanoes like mount Vesuvius that erupted at pompei.

Ash clouds

When a volcano erupts it makes a huge cloud in a mushroom shape.It is ash off debris that falls inside and then can cover people or objects and turn it into stone.
