Tudor instruments
Racket: The Racket is like a buzzing sound and sounds like a didgeridoo. The Racket also sounds like a bagpipe . The Racket looks like a glass bottle but it also looks like is has holes in it like a Recorder would .
Rebec: The Rebec sounds like a viola or violin and the pitch of the Rebec is high but it can also go a bit low . The Rebec looks like a small Violin shaped like a guitar and it also has a bow like a violin has.
Lute: The Lute sounds like a mixture of a guitar and a ukulele because of the way each pitch can be used. The Lute looks like a oddly shaped ukulele and the neck is shorter than they usually are and it does not have a headstock,It also does not have a soundhole, just a pattern.
The differences between a Racket,a Rebec and a Lute is that a Racket makes a buzzing sound but the Rebec and Lute can’t make that buzzing sound. The Rebec and the Lute both look like an instrument but the Racket is shaped like a glass bottle. The Racket and Lute both have strings but the Racket needs to be blown into to make a sound.
