Is Lady Macbeth guilty of playing a part in King Duncan’s Murder?
After looking at all of the evidence, we found out that Lady Macbeth was not guilty. For centuries now many people have been asking is Lady Macbeth guilty? Is she not guilty? Today I am going to be showing you if Lady Macbeth is guilty or not.
Lady Macbeth is not guilty, even though she put the idea in Macbeth’s head, she smeared the blood on the guards she did NOT touch the dead body of King Duncan, and she did not stab King Duncan, Macbeth did.
However, some people do not think that, they think that Lady Macbeth forced Macbeth to kill King Duncan so that she could have the power, all of the money and because she wanted to be queen.
On the other hand, Lady Macbeth did say to kill but she got the idea from what Macbeth wrote to her. The letter exclaimed that Macbeth met 3 witches and they said that one day Macbeth will be King and Lady Macbeth will be Queen so basically the witches caused the murder because the prophecy may not have been true but they believed it.
Other people say that it might have not been true or that they could have just waited for King Duncan to die of age not just kill him because they wanted power, money and to be King and Queen.
After considering the evidence, we concluded that Lady Macbeth was not guilty and the reason for this is because she didn’t stab King Duncan, Macbeth did. Although Lady Macbeth may have suggested the plan Macbeth could have said no I don’t want to do it. One of the other reasons for Lady Macbeth not being guilty is because the witches said that they would be King and Queen, and they just made the job quicker.

The underlined section is giving a clear opinion very early on, how could you adapt this to make it so that it is a possibility rather than a definite?
