Not all parrots are tropical they can be pets as well.Many birds grip food in feet but only parrots can hold their food up to their beaks whilst they eat seeds,nuts,fruit,vegetables, grasses and occasionally insects and berries.

Parrots live in Africa , Australia , Souththeast , Asia and South America.Parrots live up to 5 to 15 years. The African grey parrot is the smartest bird.

I personally think parrots are the cutest thing ever and they can speak so it makes them look smart. I think my day will be fine until I get an African grey parrot. That is my favourite animal.
