How to do the experiment

This is my plan for my science investigation. It is a fair test because I will only change the material at the bottom of the ramp.

  •  Set up the ramp, ruler and robot 🤖.
  • Place the first material at the bottom of the ramp.
  • Carefully place the car 🚘 at top of the ramp.
  • Program the robot 🤖 to push the 🚘 the 🚘.
  • Whach the car 🚘 go down the ramp.
  • Measure how far the car 🚘 travelled 🧳
  • Write the measurement down.
  • Repeat from step 2.

    This sounds like a good plan for a fair experiment! Will you record how hard the robot is pushing the car so that others can repeat your experiment with the same force?

    Maybe you could also try with different amounts of push force and see what difference that makes to the outcome?
