Who were the Beatles?

The Beatles were an English rock band and started at Liverpool in 1960.The Beatles were one of the most successful and influential bands in history. In their band there were four members and they had a manager called Brian Epstein. Almost all of  their music was recorded at Abbey roads studios in London.

There is George Harrison,Ringo Starr,Paul McCartney and John Lennon in the Beatles band.John Lennon and George Harrison played the rhythm guitar and Ringo starr played the drums. Paul McCartney played the bass. They all sang and Lennon and McCartney wrote the music.

There first album written all by the Beatles was A hard days night. At 1964 was held at top five spots on the Billboard Hot 100. They had 20 singles that topped the Billboard Hot 100 in United States. They had 20 albums at No.1 at Billboard album chart.
