Who are the Beatles?

The Beatles were an English rock band that started in Liverpool in 1960. They were one          Of  the most successful and influential bands in history.

The four members in the Beatles were George Harrison Ringo star Paul McCartney and John Lennon. All of the members sang but only Lennon and McCartney wrote the music.

Throughout their career they had 20 singles that topped the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States and 20 albums at No. 1 in the Billboard albums chart.
