STEM week
We had an amazing week of fun. STEM means science, technology, engineering and maths. We did an irrigation system. We had to create it by cutting the bottom off the bottle and poking the pin into the lid. Then we put it in the ground and then filled the bottle with water then waited.

STEM WEEK
Last week we had stem week. It was the best week ever. What we did was we made an irrigation system. An irrigation system is where you get a bottle and you poke holes in it then you cut the bottom at the end you put water in the bottle then it goes to the plants. We went to the hall to show what we did in years groups and from one at a time you stood up to see each classes work.
When it was year 4 we were so happy how much work we did . When the stem week was done we had so much fun doing fun things in our class we had golden time. Last week was the best week ever in my life but we have it every year so we are lucky . Stem week stands for science technology engineering and math. I hope you love my post yours sincerely Elsie.

THE FANTASTIC AND AMAZING STEM WEEK!
During Stem Week we got to make cotton candy. My flavour was cola and we ate it up.
With Mrs Delaney, we learned about irrigation systems and decided on what irrigation system we wanted to use. We decided on the plastic bottle one. How to make it is you make holes in the cap to let the water out and cut the bottom of the bottle off . I made the irrigation system with Chloe.
We learned about some noise and how it’s measured in decibels .We recorded sound around our learning space and we did an experiment to show how sound is measured over distance. We recorded us shouting stem week and then we measured it with a decibel meter . I loved Stem Week it felt like a very long week although it was just five days .

THE AMAZING STEM WEEK
During Stem Week we got to make cotton candy. My flavour was strawberry cream. We also got to eat it. We also made irrigation systems. We made them in pairs.. My partner was Katie-Anne.We had to poke holes in the bottle of the bottle. Me and Katie-Anne took it in turns to put the water in.
We measured how far sound travels with an decibel meter.
