Run while you still can…                                                                                                                       Years ago, a boy was born. Only a few weeks later he was left on the steps of an orphanage. Taken in by  Clarke as a baby, he knew that the next 18 years would be worse than anyone could imagine. As he grew older, he only got more curious. Today was his 18th birthday. By now you are probably wondering why he is just a ‘his’ – he had no name except ‘he’ except.. Wait.. I am going too fast. Let me continue. When  he turned 18, he ran. He ran to blood ripple lake. That is when it all happened. Did he speak? N,o he just thought. He sat beside the lake just thinking about what he could find out or who he could find. Until, out the corner of his eye, he could see an immense black figure coming closer and closer. Could he run? No he could barely move… a hand reached out and he tried to grab it but the hand was not there to help him only to kill him. Next thing he knew he was sinking down the lake being crowned death.

Ring ring..

Alissa smith picked up the phone to see who was ringing. Unknown number. she expected it was probably her friends new number. She was very wrong… She answered it only to hear a muffled voice saying, “Come Alissa. Come and be crowned death.” Was it a prank? No it was him. Who? Him. Alissa had no idea what to think. or to say. She could only think to run. To the lake. No to Merelda’s house. When Alissa arrived, she told Merelda everything. Neither her or Merelda knew who this unknown caller was. A few hours later, all of Alissa’s friends had arrived at Merelda’s house. They ran to blood Ripple Lake, as they thought it was the only way to get answers. Was it? No it was not… they all sat around the lake thinking all they did was thought. Silly idea? Very silly idea. Out of the corner of their eyes they saw something. It was an immense black figure. Did they run? Some. How many? All but one. Merelda was frozen stiff with fear: they tried but not hard enough. When a hand reached out, Merelda was awoken from her sleep of fear. She tried to grab the hand to help her up, but that is not what it was there for – she got pushed into the lake. Was she dead? No. She was only crowned death. Alissa and her friends ran.

Alissa Smith woke up the next morning and went into the bathroom. She turned on the tap, but instead of water rushing, blood came crawling out. She screamed and tried to run out the door, but it was locked. She tried to turn off the tap, but she couldn’t. She heard Merelda’s voice singing, “Drown in my blood.” Did she? Of course she did. She drowned in her best friends blood. They all did.

We predict that, when we exercise, our heart rate will speed up. We aim to get our heart rate up to 70bpm, as our normal heart rate is 60bpm (15 beats per 15 seconds).  We think that after running for the 15 seconds, our heart rate will be around 80bpm.

To test our heart rate, we will be doing different exercises like: Running, jogging, etc. We will do each of those exercises for 15 seconds to make it a fair test. After doing the exercises, I will test my heart rate to find out the difference in the different exercises. Again, we will have to test my heart rate (After doing those exercises) around the same time to make it a fair test.

To keep this fair, we will make sure we will check our pulses in the same place. (So either around the neck or on our wrists). We will also have to time everything equally.

A place in far west Texas where the environment is picturesque and heaven – like, a place were your child can learn to appreciate the natural surroundings that you grew up in. The sacred Night sky is as dark as coal and the morning sky is lightened by a sun rise. Agent Paffet and agent Freddie were playing football in the garden when the diamond of the future was stolen from the museum of life.

It was there job to try and get it back. All that was left was a 20p that probably fell out of his pocket it look similar like the one that mr star had then they though (Freddie said) I swear I’ve seen that some where before so now we have a mission to solve to try and find the missing diamond’ then they thought what if it is mr stars but all he done for us he would never ever do any think like that. We need to find more clues.

first we went to Stanley the person behind the walkeytalkeys  and who helps us solve our cases I don’t think he would of stole it but we have to look we went up to him and asked if he heard anything he said no and we kind of believed him because we were talking to him the hole time when we sore the diamond got taken then we went to our friend mr James one of our close friends who we have been friends with for ages but he said he didn’t really know what it was.If he said that to you would you believe him or think he is guilty? Then we went to agent Freddie’s house to see his 2 brothers Charlie and Oscar to see if they had taken it Oscar was wearing a green huddy with a big beanie hat witch was shaped like a diamond but Oscar took his hat of and it was just some paper that he had put under there for some weird reason. Then we went to Charlie he probably didn’t know about any thing because he was only 2 so we asked him but he didn’t answer because he was to busy on his iPad (like normal). Then we thought who else would if stollen the diamond then agent paffet wisperred shat If what if it was our old aggent that got kicked out because he didn’t like what he was told to do so we went to see our old buddy aggent Jimmy to ask if he had stolen it because he was mad at us but he wasn’t home and there was a letter saying gone away so we didn’t spend much time.

Then there was one person we hadn’t seen since the crime. Mr star we went back to the bass and tried to find him we looked in the living room kitchen and even the toilet then we sore a blazing blue light coming from his room and it looked like the diamond of the future so we shouted mr star and he said wait a muinet boys then we heard a bang coming out of his room then we went into his room he was suspiciously gone all that was left was his star mask and a  20p.

A girl named Kelly moved to a new city with her family. She is not a fan of the cold weather so she was not happy . Kelly ,who has brown hair and a pink dress ,lived in a small cottage but now she lived in a huge house with her mum,dad and her grandma. She was having fun one day around the trees near her house, When a girl younger than her called out saying that she needs to come to her. Kelly didn’t care she hardly even cared about her parents, but the girl just told her the story. Kelly had that she was playing hide and seek but she heard her mum coming so she had to run into the forest. Her mum had not seen her go so they had to call her but she was in the forest of secrets her new friend went in to find her but she couldn’t get out. they finally met up and munched on some blueberries in the bushes but they were bird berries so they tried to find more food but couldn’t so they had a head ache.The girls had a lay down. They suddenly saw red beams striking at them the saw them self’s being chased by a beast with red fur. When they had escaped they were still being chased the animal told them about the time chaser and how he can send you back in time.He gave them some gear to chase the chaser. The girls had given a siren. The time chaser found them and sent them back in time to the chase luckily they took gear and destroyed the time chaser .

Dear Diary,

I am struggling to write today as my hands are so sore:I have blisters upon blisters and I am out of breath. After what felt like an eternity, I arrived at Camp Green Lake.Instantly , I knew this was hell. I was so thirsty from the sheering heat of the desert. Now as I was thinking about my decision ,I should of chosen to go to jail. I remembered the curse,this is why I had chosen Camp Green Lake. Now there is no point arguing my case. I knew I just had to leave it be.

All the kids back home were talking of their vacations at camps or in other Countries . They said they did skateboarding canoeing and water-skiing – obviously this isn’t one of those places.With a temperature rising up to 48 degrees Celsius in the shade and no water source within 100 miles.This camp is not green and it also doesn’t have a lake,this is what makes the camp very lifeless. Showers in the wild,no buildings(only tents),dry throats and sore hands: this is the worst place on Earth.As I stared out the ‘window’ I can see a area full of holes-full of sadness. It’s far too late now.I knew I had to go and dig a hole as big as space. This camp ends happiness,takes memories and turns them into never-ending nightmares.

There  I was thinking the camp was bad, the thing is I didn’t even meet the people maybe they were kind-heart. The first person I’ve met was a man named Mr Sir (funny name)he had a fridge full of drinks – he never gave me one,I was sad,he was saying”you have to get used to being thirsty .” The next person to meet was Mr Pendanski,he was my counselor. He guided me to my tent,on the way to the tent he told me that his name is simple to remember(Mr Pen-dance-key),were I found 5 boys talking. As I entered the tent , Mr Pendanski introduced me to Zero,X-ray,Armpit,Magnet and Zigzag.X-ray was the only one to welcome me here,he also shook hands with me. When Mr Pendanski left, I asked Theodor (Armpit)if he knew were the Warden lived, he tossed me on to the ground,I didn’t enjoy it, and barked at me and said said “my name ain’t Theodor!”. It wasn’t a nice start to this friendship. Mr Pendanski came back and also asked me why I think Zero’s nickname is Zero, he told me it is because he doesn’t have nothing in his head.

It is true to say that this wasn’t the greatest day of my life but who knows maybe there will be a worse day tomorrow. I think that all of the days here at Camp Green Lake will be as sad and hard as this one.I can’t stop thinking about my family back home and about the summer vacation we would of had. I wish that my parents will be thinking that I didn’t steal those shoes because I didn’t. If it wasn’t for them treating me nicely I wouldn’t know how they treat me hear at camp.

Any way I hope that tomorrow I will have a better day and get to meet the other campers here at Camp Green Lake, now I have to go to bed.

This place  really exist and your children can go here  ,it is called Camp Green Lake . a beautiful ocean of blue sky above the : there  is not a gray cloud in light . there is no one there ,but maybe you  can come the sand is white and the temperature is like 35oc .  The journey is not as  long . but there will be bus waiting for you .  you would have a lifetime of the heat  ..

How our Camp Green Lake it is different to the other JCF (juvenile  correction  facilities)  you may be asking? well here  at Camp Green Lake  your child will love it there because  when the bus gets there it  might take 9 hours . but their will be a tablet or they can bring there own book  when they get there ,  they will  unpack  there  bags  and   in   a cupboard  and   they will have to dig a hole  when they do that the can get  the day of or they can get in the shower or the  bath  all day .

In the night sky you will see a show of stars shining on the desert floor The sky shows a display of clouds. Made by the cracks in the canyon light shines through. Look no farther . Here at Camp Green Lake young offenders are not surrounded or enclosed by iron bars or brick walls. Sometimes we need to reach down for potential in your child by digging down. Digging will help your child build character and give your child a second chance each day. Here at CGL we are surrounded by nature and warm, sunny days. Your child will be able to do activities under the sun. After they have dug down, the rest of the day is theirs to explore. The journey here is free and along the way there are lots of wonderful views that are a tourist attraction. Every group is assigned a leader to take care of them and help build their character. I will tell you now, everyone who has been here would say it has changed their lives forevermore.

Introduction

The heart is a very vital organ  which pumps the blood around your body .It is essential for life as it carries very important  nutrients and oxygen to your other organs. It also transports the carbon dioxide (CO2) to the lungs so you then breathe it out , the reason for this is the CO2 is actually very poisonous for your body. The heart sits in your chest , left of the sternum bone (bone in your chest) and in front of the lungs – which are interconnected with the circulatory system as they provide the oxygen that is needed. Did you know your heartbeats ,on average, 100,000 times a day, therefore in 2.5 billion times in a life time. If you put your heart into perspective it is around the size of a clenched fist.

Your Circulatory System is made up of your heart, blood vessels and lungs. Everyone’s blood cells travel like a bus on a road, for example the road are your veins and arteries and the blood cells are like the buses. In more detail, the blood cells transport the carbon dioxide to the left atrium, then straight through the mitral valve to the left ventricle finally to the aortic valve. The right atrium receives oxygen-poor blood from the body and pumps it to the right ventricle through the tricuspid valve. The right ventricle pumps the oxygen-poor blood to the lungs through the pulmonary valve.
