The MessageBot 1.0 can vary in different ways, which means you can custom its voice and you can choose its colour. How does it work you may be asking? Well, it has a screen and a keyboard on its stomach, so all you have to do is type who its for and what the message is –  it’s very simple, so everybody can do it. The battery power lasts up to a year. In case it it rains, it will be fine as it has been invented to be water resistant. If it fails, which is unlikely because it knows when to stop and carry on, it won’t do much harm as it is made of steel. Plus, if you have pets at home, don’t worry because it has its own box to keep it in so it will not be eaten, which means the MessageBot 1.0 is pretty much invincible.

Why choose a robot for the design?

When designing the MessageBot 1.0, I wanted the design to link in with the purpose. So I had some time thinking and I thought that it is to do with technology, so why not choose a robot. Also I wanted something gender neutral so I though a robot is the perfect way to express that. Also, I wanted something to be useful for the next generation.

Is there another purpose for it?

I would have made it maybe sing or dance, to entertain kids, but I through that idea away. I  have 2 reasons for this. 1. This would just make the price rise higher. 2. I wanted it to be perfect for all ages. But, we did make another purpose. It can also be handy if you can’t do the shopping, it will be able to do it for you.

What would the company look like?

The company logo would look like a truck, but if you’re talking about how the company would be set out, then it would be simple: 1. You would have to get a sponsorship from someone to get the money, 2. Buy a ton of basic human needs and ask for donations, saying it goes towards the homeless and poor, 3. Go round looking for poor and homeless people and give them a big bag full of the items (will be listed later on) and repeat. Once the company gets big, you could start buying trucks and hiring truck drivers to deliver the food, you could also buy a warehouse to keep all the items there. Once you’ve done all of that, you could make a website to gain more popularity. 1 reason of popularity: more people in need would ask to be helped out. Ways to help out: by the website, go to the company’s building (if its close) or you could call the company’s number, if someones going to call then you might as well build an office and hire office workers so they could answer calls. If you’re going to make an office then you could add a building next to the warehouse, this building will consist of many offices for workers who order the items, look for sponsorship, answer calls, etc.

Where will the items be given out?/ Who will they be given out to?

The company will go around delivering items all around England, Scotland and Wales to homeless and poor people. Each person will get a bag filled with all the items. The items will consist of toiletries, food, beverages, a blanket, a sleeping bag and a pillow.

Why does your company not have any more additional features?

If the company got really big sponsorship’s, would get a lot of donations and would have a ton of money then they would give out houses too, but not big ones. Only houses with one level. However, to get that type of money, the company would need to be very trusted and popular. Why? So the company’s know that that they can trust this one and they could give a bigger sponsorship and so a ton of people would know about it and what its doing so more and more people could donate.

This invention just looks like regular hearts, but it is 2 hearts that are linked together. If you unlink them, then they will become sad and they will start to sob (for 30 seconds). After that, if they are far away from each other, when you hug one the other one (that belongs to a different person) says, “hug me too!” but when you hug them both, they both say at the same time, “Yay”. Also, they will be singing a song quietly that they made (for 30 seconds). Because this invention will make your isolation better! This, is Message Bird. Message Birds work very easily, first, grab a wing of the plastic bird, put a message in the wing, press the button on the chest, and then, the wing flies to your loved one! Instead of getting yourself out of your home, this little plastic object will zoom to the person you’re sending the message to! If the other pupil has this invention (Message Bird), the giant feathers will catch the message from you. It even plays some songs for kids. It is a toy for kids when a message is not in the wing. And yes, of course, it is appropriate for… all ages!

The Message Bird doesn’t just get/send messages and it’s a plastic toy, it also plays songs for toddlers and babies. It plays calming music, lullabies, and rhymes! Do you think it will work?
Yes, it would work every time, just have to have to switch batteries every now and then. It does not distort itself. And yes, the wings will always respond to a take off. And the head feathers will always catch the birds wings. But it has a 00.1% chance of missing the catch.

Will it have differences?
Of course, it would! It has different colouration depending on the box’s colours. For instance, the normal (yellow) colouration would have a white and blue colouration. For the red colouration of MB, the box would have a red and yellow coloured box. Every box has a different colouration for the colours of MB.

When making the ‘Hands Up’ we considered many other ways we could spice our device up, but we decided on a simple, easy to use device. By sticking to a simple product, we had more time to test it and make sure the ‘Hands Up’ had substantial quality.

The ‘Hands Up’ comes with it’s own app because it allows the set up of the device to be even easier. It does not only increase the quality of the product, but makes it more modern and easier to use. Lonely sad and isolated -does this sound like a life that you would like to live in? All across England people are trying their best to stay at home. They cannot leave their house and go any closer than two metres and you can’t touch one another. That’s how I had the idea of a way that you can high five without using your hands. Instead of doing a normal high five, do an elbow high five, which is what I call the non regular high five (for short tnrhf), which stands for that. My name is Freddie and I will tell you more.

The “non regular high five” is not any normal high five – it is a high five without using your hands just to keep safe, so it is pretty simple really. There are two different ways of doing this, but the best bit about this is that you can also try to make a third way. The first way is pretty simple, all you have to do is get a jumper or a long leaved shirt, so you can go up to someone else and give them an elbow high five. The second way of doing this is to get your phone (if you have one) and call someone: this is called the virtual high five (really there are so many names for this). When you have called someone, all you have to do is give them a virtual elbow high five – it’s that easy.

Although  in difficult times like this you will have to video call someone, with the elbow high five just go up to someone and give them an elbow high five then run two metres away into your back garden or back into your car if you drove to see someone. It is also a different way, so then you are not always looking into a screen, you are also going outside and also seeing family members in this difficult time. (You need to wear a long sleeved t shirt or a jumper.)

I chose this because I thought that no one else would choose this as their invention. Also it is a nice way of saying hello to someone instead of a hand shake. I also chose this as my product because after you do it, you might want to think of more ways to do this new cool hand shake.

Hello my name is Andrei. Today I am going to show you the Anti-virus machine – this machine is made to catch the the deadliest viruses and destroy them. There are millions of them and if you use this machine, you can destroy them easily. Amazingly, this will do it by a mixture of two different liquids and 2 different gases meeting together that will make a small pop to alert you that it is gone. This machine is a lifesaving one. Don’t you want all the viruses to disappear? Then this invention is made for you.

The Anti virus was designed to be cheap for every body to buy it; it works perfectly. In 2020’s summers, we’re going to send over 3 billion of this machine all over the world. If something goes wrong, I am willing to help. And, as I said, the price is cheap: it will cost around 5-10 pounds, but the fabrication cost to make 1 million is around £5,000, this is because most of the things are found in nature. The design of this machine is technically a bigger camera with loads of mechanisms and chemicals inside it and a big tube coming from the front to catch the virus.If all of the chemicals and all of the gases meet together, it will take a second for the virus to disappear, and if you hear a pop then it is done. We also made this machine for blind people that can’t hear the pop, so that when it pops, a light shows.

How will your machine make the world a better place? 

Although we have medicine, for some of the diseases we don’t have any. Instead of taking medicines and having pain, you can just get rid of the viruses before they get to you. Also, in the future, when we are going to have millions of diseases that won’t have a cure, this machine will stop it from affecting the human population. As I was saying, this machine can save the whole world: not treating diseases, but stopping them from coming to you.

Why does it not cure the infected people? 

It will not cure the infected people because it has loads of chemicals and if they join in your body with the disease you can get some serious injury to your body, also because different diseases need different medicines. This is because earlier on I talked about that it makes a pop after the disease is gone, but that pop is actually a smaller explosion but still powerful, this explosion is stopped which makes it sound like a pop.
