The Write-y Bag

While in isolation, families have been divided. heartbroken, lonely, and miserable – should they really be like this? Their phones are broken and have absolutely no way of communicating with each other. Or do they? Introducing the Write-y bag. My name is Sarah Ziemian, and I have designed the Write-y bag. 68% of the world have mobile phones, but while in lockdown, this could change. This is where my invention comes in. With the Write-y bag, 32% can still keep in contact with each other. When one writes on the bag with their finger, it appears on the other bag until the receiver presses the button on the top, which makes the writing disappear. Sound like a solution to your problems?

The “write-y bags” are a way to communicate with others, who cannot for obvious reasons, such as Coronavirus lockdown, broken phones, and long-distance. Using your finger you can draw or write something on the bag, then it will appear on the other bag until the receiver presses the button on the top, then the writing disappears. You can use my product to send pictures to your friends and family, wish them a happy birthday, or just to catch up. The bag comes in: Orange, Blue, Pink, black, white, and purple, because it is made for everyone, so it suits anyone’s fashion style. The double bag pack retails for £6.99. It is cuboid-shaped and has a “golden” chain to hold the bag, which can be removed.

I will sell my item at about 6-10 different stores- Walmart and Sainsbury’s because they are quite popular. Possibly, Wilko’s and Tesco, because they sell a lot of toys. Amazon and Argos, because we can’t really leave the house. I didn’t choose to use the bag for also calling, because I felt it would be very complicated to find a way to include it. At first, I did consider adding calling to the bag, but I felt like having microphones and speakers would be too complicated for the user.
