Pendle witch trials

The trials of the Pendle witches  in 1612 are among the most famous witch trials in English history, and some of the best recorded in the 17 century. 12 of the accused lived around Pendle hill. Due to this, many people believed it’s where witches met to practice witchcraft. Everyone thought the 10 recent murders were done by witchcraft. On 1612 July 27th, another person died in prison and 10 were found guilty and executed by being hung.
