DAFFODILS IN THE BREEZE

May 3rd, 2018

A host of  golden daffodils,

Covered in dewdrop diamonds,

Beside the lake, beneath the tree,

Daffodils in the breeze.

Ten – thousand in a glance,

All tossing their heads in a welcoming manner,

Continuous stars that shimmered,

Daffodils in the breeze.

I ponded of a galaxy

Which lay on mild green grass,

Like ripples they circled me,

Daffodils in the breeze.
