If I were a PrimeMinister, What would you do and how?

Harry and Owen:
If I were a Prime Minister, I would first increase the amount of money going to the NHS to help more people who are ill. I would get this money from the slightly more rich people, any person(s) who is earning more than £95,000 per year, will contribute an extra 10% and people earning more than £1,000,000 per year will have to contribute an extra 8% to the extra 10% that would be added anyway every year. I would also reduce the amount of money given to people who have no jobs due to laziness and somehow encourage them to get a job whether it gives a small wage or not. With the remaining amount of this money will go towards better education and university costs as well as State Pensions for better older generations and newer generation. If I were prime minister I would also reduce the costs of driving theory tests by 20%, I would get the money from national debt interests by 5% and 3% from welfare.

My review of Office 2013 blog posting

For a little while, on Microsoft Office 2013, I have been using the blog post feature and I have found it quite useful but it was a little hard to set up. I find this better as I can do more than what I could do on the original admin website, you can change colour easier, size, highlight, colour and pictures are much easier to apply as it in Microsoft Word which I am more used to. I can also check my spelling easier with the simple press of F7 or pressing Spelling in the top corner.

Macbeth Continued

Pacing the room, Lady Macbeth heard a distant toll. She heard tentative footsteps approach the imposing wooden door. With a creek, a bloody hand gradually appeared around the edge of the door. It slowly opened! Her husband’s hands low to his side quivering as his hands trembled.
“You should not have brought the daggers here!” Lady Macbeth Exclaimed in horror,
“Go back and put them in the guard’s hands as we planned”

Macbeth’s eyes were blank. He sat down.
“I can’t go back there; I can’t go back there, the look on his face….” Macbeth hoarsely replied to his wife, who showed no sympathy, whilst dropping his head to the ground in shame.

Lady Macbeth turned her back on her husband and sighed in frustration. After a brief pause, she turned back to face her husband; her eyes full of venom.
“You had one simple task and yet you can’t even perform that. Are you a soldier? Are you a man? All I see before me is a snivelling excuse for the name of Macbeth”
“You were not there, you do not know. I cannot go there, I can still hear his last breaths!”

“How do you ever expect yourself to become a king if you cannot follow a simple task?”

“Simple! No Way, I just murdered the king of the land!”

“Then I will” Said Lady Macbeth as she snatched the daggers off of Macbeth and then left the room.

Macbeths stood where he was, shivering uncontrollably, seeing nothing but King Duncan’s dead eyes staring. He tried to pray but his lips would not form the right words. Macbeth though about his wife’s words, why was this different? He had killed before in the name of others so why was it so difficult to kill for his own gain. Minutes passed like hours.
“Where is she?” He kept thinking to himself. Had she been captured? If she was caught then only a noose would be wrapped around his head, not the golden crown that he was promised by the witches.

Lady Macbeth returned, “I have done the deed, the guards have been set-up”
“Water should wash the blood off of our hands”

“Very well then” Macbeth replied as he slowly stood up.

Fake News: What is it? How do we find it?

Lots of people like to share their news online but it isn’t always true;
How can we spot it?

We all share news to our friends because it’s either funny or crazy, but is it always true?Around 32% of news is false so when looking at news online that you like, make sure it’s true before telling your friends or sharing it on social medias.

Fake news has been made a lot lately, especially about other people. Medias do it to get views, clicks and even money. This has been a huge problem lately, people like Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, Felix Kjellberg and many more people have had many fake articles made about them.

How to spot fake articles?

  • Check if the news has been shared anywhere else.
  • Have you seen or heard it on TV, or even the radio?
  • How crazy does it sound, is it unbelievable?
  • If it doesn’t make sense, it’s probably not true.

There are many other ways to check if it is true but these are the most helpful and easiest.

Think before you share, stay aware.

Macbeth (Trial Version)

The Story of Macbeth!

Scotland has been at war for ages now (between Norway and Scotland) and Macbeth has served the Scottish army well, Macbeth was then told by a very evil and ugly witch, infact it was three witches all as terrible as eachother, that he would be the great Thane of Cawdor and a day later, he was and he started to believe the three terrible witches’ words! Lady Macbeth did like what that said (ALOT) and so she planned to murder the pleasant and corteous King of the land (Duncan) to make her and her husband, Macbeth, King quicker… 😈

The HomeGuard from World War 2

This blogpost will tell you all about the HomeGuard from World War 2 in 1939.

The people in the HomeGuard were volunteers who lived in the area and they tried to protect their hometown from invasion by the Germans but obviously, that never happened…ever! Homeguard volunteers often were really clumsy and got hurt a lot, especially the older ones who are around 80 years old. The HomeGuard was organised by Winston Churchill in 1939 and 1940. The HomeGuard volunteers didn’t have proper weapons, they had ancient weapons. 250,000 Pikes were issued and used by the HomeGuard as weapons against what would be the ‘invaders’, the Germans.

Dear Mr. H. Trumble

I am writing to you today because of my concern of this evacuee, named William Beech. William was given to me yesterday morning at 10:20am from one of your brilliant billeting officers in Little Wierwold. With regret, I cannot fulfill his need at this point in time.

My first major problem with this problematic child is his bed-wetting; this morning, I went to William’s room to find his bed soaked in urine amd so I had to buy him new children’s pyjamas and brand new bed sheets. I then also had to carry his really heavy matress down and onto the shed’s roof, which hurt my back and arms alot.

The second significant problem is William getting told horrible myths by his mother back in London about dogs being poisonous and dangerous and so he threatened to kill my dog. If I was not there, if I had left William, if my dog had gotten closer, then my dog would be gone, forever…

One of my last dilemmas has been this child’s medication. I have spent a lot of money on this child’s medicines and creams. I found his legs and back covered in scars and bruises from possibly being beaten really hard and when he eats (which is ever much), it just comes back up about half an hour to an hour later. He is a very ill child.

For these reasons, this poor child should be sent to a greater family that is more wealthy than me alone. But if you send me a little more money each week, if you give this child some free medication, if you could help this child, then I may consider keeping this child with me instead of sending him off to some other place.

Yours sincerely,

            Mr Tom Oakley

Cyberbullying

Cyberbullying can be tough to handle but this will help you notice it if you come across any issues.

  • Cyberbullying often occurs in a group of people, maybe two or three people.
  • Cyberbullying takes place online on Social Medias or online gaming service (e.g. Xbox live, PSN and Steam) through messages or even Parties (Xbox Live) or group chats.
  • It is bullying online and it can affect people’s lives forever

If you ever experience this, here are some top tips.

  1. Talk to someone you can trust with everything.
  2. Block the people that are bullying you which you can often do and report them to Xbox, PSN or anything else.
  3. If you experience CyberBullying you can confidently call ChildLine at 0800 1111.
  4. Do not delete the messages that have been sent to you as they hold evidence that the another person has done wrong to you.

The Drizzle that Rained like Sleeping Cows

A Short Story
by Elfie Star

Moo Cow looked at the Awesome sandwich in his hands and felt Happy.

He walked over to the window and reflected on his Awesome surroundings. He had always loved Gold Gold Moo Fields with its testy, tense Trees. It was a place that encouraged his tendency to feel Happy.

Then he saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the figure of Gold Moo Cow. Gold Moo was a hopeful monster with ruddy legs and squat arm pit.

Moo gulped. He glanced at his own reflection. He was a stupid, understanding, tea drinker with charming legs and greasy arm pit. His friends saw him as a massive, misty monster. Once, he had even saved a shredded injured bird that was stuck in a drain.

But not even a stupid person who had once saved a shredded injured bird that was stuck in a drain, was prepared for what Gold Moo had in store today.

The drizzle rained like sleeping Cows, making Moo Smelly.

As Moo stepped outside and Gold Moo came closer, he could see the inquisitive glint in his eye.

“Look Moo,” growled Gold Moo, with a proud glare that reminded Moo of hopeful pigeons. “I hate you and I want revenge. You owe me 1288 euros.”

Moo looked back, even more Smelly and still fingering the Awesome sandwich. “Gold Moo, I made you,” he replied.

They looked at each other with Angry feelings, like two gloopy, green Gold Moo Cows chatting at a very courageous snow storm, which had piano music playing in the background and two admirable uncles singing to the beat.

Moo regarded Gold Moo’s ruddy legs and squat arm pit. “I don’t have the funds …” he lied.

Gold Moo glared. “Do you want me to shove that Awesome sandwich where the sun don’t shine?”

Moo promptly remembered his stupid and understanding values. “Actually, I do have the funds,” he admitted. He reached into his pockets. “Here’s what I owe you.”

Gold Moo looked Scared, his wallet blushing like a pretty, pleasant piano.

Then Gold Moo came inside for a nice cup of tea.

How to stay safe online ;-)

Staying safe online can be hard, so here is a few tips that should help with being safe.

  1. Never trust any person on the internet unless they are people that you know in real life that you talk to over the internet.
  2. When playing or talking to someone online, never give the other person any of your details like you email address as they could spam you or where you live as they could find you and possibly hurt or murder you.
  3. Online services like Xbox Live and PSN are meant to only be for play games and talking with friends not anything else, for example: explaining where you live or meeting people somewhere, do not share contact information, just keep it to Xbox Live and PSN.
  4. Try not to download or sign up to things from unknown sources, you could lose all your data which could lead to losing all of your money.
  5. Tell a parent or guardian if someone is saying something inappropriate to you or anyone else who you know.
  6. Do not give out your real name or set it as your Gamertag in Xbox, PSN or even on YouTube and some social medias.
  7. Do talk to people at your own risk but matchmaking games like Multiplayer in Halo and Battle in Minecraft.
