Choices

Today we had Genr8 and they talked all about choice. One of the quotes we heard from them was “What ever choice you make you cannot choose the consequences.” Today year 6 had to take something away from that lesson and I am taking whatever choice you make it isnt wrong.

Peer Pressure is when you are telling someone to do something that they might wato do.

John Lewis ad 2017 #MozTheMonster

Once upon a time, there was a boy called Jeff that never tidied his disgraceful, disgusting room; his parents always told him off but he didn’t care about it. But one shocking day, his father (who was a mad scientist) brought in a chemical liquid into Jeff’s room for his chemistry test at his school. Unfortunately, his father tripped over a pile of T-shirts and socks and accidentally hit a dangerous beaker of chemicals -which was placed before hand- and the two chemicals got absorbed into the pile of T-shirts and socks.

The next morning, the pile of T-shirts and socks was shivering and shaking. Then ‘it’  emerged from the putrid-smelling, ancient pile of  dreadful, murky clothes; ‘it’ was an enormous,  muscular giant like no-one has ever seen before. The giant was so excited to be alive that he accidentally  knocked out Jeff’s father. Shocked, Jeff  suddenly fainted, after a few minutes he found himself in the giants gigantic hand. The giant was friendly to Jeff and became his friend after a few days so Jeff  named the creature ,Moz. Every night Moz snored and snored.. and snored but one night, Moz snored so heavily loud it woke up everyone in the house so his parents traveled up to Jeff’s room (in the attic) to investigate what was creating that peculiar noise. When his parents finally arrived to his ragged, tattered room Jeff heard and told Moz to camouflage itself  from his strict parents but the giant didn’t hide in time. The parents opened the door and came to the sight of a monstrosity. Jeff’s mother screamed then hurried downstairs; his father sprinted after Jeff’s mother to calm her down. As his mother hurried downstairs, she grabbed her phone and called the police.

As the police got closer and closer.. and closer, Moz was getting more and more scared. Moz tried to escape but Jeff wouldn’t let him escape  his grasp. Moz heard the police sirens coming and escaped through the window. In the gloomy night, Jeff opened his  window for Moz to come back but he never did. The next day, Moz found a open window to hide from the police. Moz climbed into the building and found a little boy called Joe. That was how they became friends.

Oliver Twist Greater Depth

I saw a young boy running from the Sowerberry residence and he was running very quickly actually ; he had a slender body and wore a midnight blue cap. He also wore a chesnut brown jacket that hung loosely from his slim body. His boots were dark brown, I could see his feet it was so tight. The boy’s feet were bruised and grazed probably from something sharp like a nail in the ground. His face was pale and dirty ,his threadbare shirt was light brown. His hair was blonde it was straw like. His body was slender and slim, he escaped from my grasp as i tried to grab him but he slipped away. His trousers, which were long and ripped, had definitely seen better days though.

Diary of the wimpy kid ‘The Long Haul’ Review

I thought the movie was great! I found it funny when Greg and his family went to a kids restaurant, which is called corny’s, and Greg tried to find his little brother,  Manny, and he found ,well not Manny , but a diaper in the ball pit; everyone pulled out there phones and put him on video! After that he became an internet sensation.

I really enjoyed the scene where Manny won a pig when he only counted 4 5 6 and that surprisingly was the weight of the pig which made him win the pig! It was surprising to me that a kid that could only count to about 10 would be able to win a pig. After Manny winning the pig, his mum found out about it and didn’t really want to keep it so they gave the pig to a petting zoo.

I also found it very amusing when Greg met his favourite youtuber Matt Digby, Greg tried to free him from his title  ‘diaper hands’ so he met Matt but he accidentally tripped over and crashed Matt’s gaming system. Greg was at a convention when he met Matt so the convention was on TV. His parents almost called the police because they didn’t know where he was but they were watching TV as well and they saw Greg and Rodrick ,Greg’s older brother, at the convention. His mother said Greg was grounded FOR LIFE!

The best scene to my liking was when Greg and his family were at a horrible hotel. Their room was disgusting with cockroaches in the bathroom, hairy soap and with no food to eat it was horrible!

This movie was awesome and I totally recommend it to any movie lover!

The happy puzzle company in Year 6!

In Year 6 we went to the pink hall to try some challenges! The happy puzzle company is a company that makes puzzles for people! The some puzzles were really hard but we eventually finished them all. Most of the puzzles were pretty easy so we finished them in a matter of minutes!                                                                                                                                                      The first puzzle was a road puzzle, which was one of the easiest, and it didn’t take that long! We laid the road on a mat and tried to make it into a rectangle. A women – whose name was Caron from the happy puzzle company – gave us hints on how to finish the road puzzle , she said “The easiest shape to make with the road pieces is a rectangle.”                       Then we had the second challenge that was about building a sort-of castle and its was really hard because there was holes in the blocks and if there was holes on the opposite sides then the pieces  of the castle would fall through!                                                                             After that we tried a tube challenge where we had to connect the tubes without leaving any holes and it was really hard because there were lots of holes left out and we could only block out two of the holes.                                                                                                                                     Then we went onto a hexagon puzzle, the hexagon challenge was really hard because there was quadrilateral shapes with colors and we had to fill in the hexagon with the quadrilaterals without the same color touching each other! It wasn’t really hard, we only did the puzzles in less than three minutes.                                                                                                       After the hexagon challenge we had to make a square, rectangle and triangle with seven pieces and also we had to use all of the pieces! The square was the hardest but we eventually got there! After the square we tried the rectangle and that wasn’t really hard either, but the triangle was the hardest even though the solution was really easy!

100 Word Challenge

“Massive light bulb broken!” Is what the headlines screamed out to the people. “Who created the light bulb and what is the purpose of it ?” Everyone said. The light bulb was to bring light to everyone in the city! To repair and clean up the damage costs £5,000,000!!!!! “Now the light bulb is broken how will we get light?” Quoted a civilian. Then Thomas Edison had a life-changing, outstanding idea, that would change the whole world! He would make light bulbs for everyone, even make  his own company! Thomas Edison’s brilliant idea was so amazing we even use light bulbs today!
