Help for heroes

ON Sunday my dad step mum sister and 2 brothers and I held an event called help for heroes at the George and dragon pub in St.Neots we raised over £900 . We all had a great time and we done one heck of a job we are also hosting another one in October or August.

The activities we have are fun and we have a little mini shop named merch for heroes and there are bracelets teddy’s mugs. We even made so cup cakes with the help for heroes shades on it and they are red dark and light blue with a nine in the middle red. The top are nice as well, I have one so does very one else and they are all different.

Glitzy – day one

At the start of the morning when our holiday begins, nursery is not over yet when the clock says nine we will leave for nursery. After we dropped off our brother at nursery, we had to do some shopping  we stopped at the town park for a picnic and had some turns on the slide and swing.  The town square was near when we entered town through a alleyway. Walking along the pavement, we arrived at Sainsburys to get the things we needed. As soon as we came out, we had the shopping we needed (bread, milk and eggs) then quickly sprinted home. By the time we arrived home it was eleven, after a hour we would go and collect our brother back from nursery. In another hour my dad would arrive ready for mosque and possible take my brother with him. Soon we were cleaning the house doing things like vacuuming, tidying and sweeping. My dad arrived back with my brother at two and three hours later, at five, he will leave for hospital. In the hospital, my dad washes dishes with other people  in the kitchen. At eight, my brother went to bed but when it was nine me and my sister went to bed.

Why I recommend Harry Potter and the philosopher’s stone.

Firstly, the best thing I like about Harry Potter is that once you start reading you can’t put the book down. When there nothing to do Harry Potter will keep you busy for a long time. Also in the series there is a bit of everything such as fantasy, mystery, and romance even packed with much more. You can suddenly feel the vibes tingling up your spine while the adventure continues.

About the different planets in our Solar System

Sun

Some People say the sun is a planet but it is a star, the sun is about 149.6 billion meters away from Earth! Even though the sun is so far away it can still burn our skin. Thats why the moon looks bigger that the sun but really the sun is the biggest star.

Venus

Venus is tho most hot and cold planet, when it faces the sun it is hotter then boiling water when it doesn’t face the sun it is as cold as a freezer. Venus takes 247 Earth days to fully turn. Venus is also called after a Roman goddess. The main colour of Venus is blue, brown, yellow and green.

Mars

Mars is one of the most planets which has the most volcanoes and high mountains. Mars is the second smallest planet before Mercury. The reason why Mars is red is because the element Iron and Water,which  makes the reddish colour. Mars is also called a Roman goddess.

Saturn

A saturn day is 10 hours 32 minutes and 35 seconds, Saturn is the most least dense planet in the solar system. Did you know that Saturn had 62 moons? Fun fact: You can see Saturn with a telescope and a clear night sky, if you see a ball with small dots around its what Saturn looks like. Saturn takes 29 earth years to do a full rotation around the Sun, Instead of the 365 days/1 year turn for Earth.

The life of J K Rowling

J K  Rowling was born on 1965 July the 31st and raised in Yate England. She was bullied in school and she went to school at St Michel’s Primary school. She also went to Moray House school of education.

J K  Rowling Heard the name potter and was inspired to be a writer at the age of 6 where she wrote a short book about a rabbit. Her mother gave courage to become a writer. She was inspired to write Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone when she at a train station. She wanted to write it but she didn’t have a working pen and she was to shy to ask for one.

In 1990 J K Rowling lost her mother and she felt sad and that’s the reason why Harry Potter sees his parents in the Mirror Of Esriel. 

In 1991 she left England to get a job in Portugal and she met her first wife Jorge Argates  and they had a girl named Jessica. However after a couple of years they had a argument and they broke up, and she took the child. 

In 1993 She went back to England and tried to finish off Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone but she also went to coffee shops to finish the book off.

After she finished Harry Potter and the Philosophers stone she got a agent called Christopher who spent almost a year trying to get a publisher because 13 Publishers rejected the book and didn’t want it. Soon he found a publisher who wanted to see it and weeks after that she began making other Harry Potter books and at 2006 she finished all of the Harry potter books from Philosophers Stone to Deathly Hallows. She still made Harry Potter books though. Also after she finished the series she also wrote some sort stories too. 

Now she lives in Scotland with her 2nd husband Neil Murray and has three children on the banks of the river Tay.

The imagining first day at Hogwarts.

Before the first day of Hogwarts I had to go to a place called Diagon Alley and buy some magic items and buy cloaks for Hogwarts. It was very exiting and I got an owl, I named it snowy because of its white colour. Also at Diagon Alley, I went to Gringotts, a type of wizard bank guarded by goblins. I had to pick lots of Knuts Sickels and Galleons, I visited Olivander’s shop and bought a magic wand made of pheonix feathers and wood from the dark forest. When I arrived back to the Muggle world I went next morning to London.

When I got to London, I asked a wizard how to get on platform 9 and three quarters he replied to me that to run up to the wall that was most far from him, I was a bit unsure at first but then I sped through and thought I was going to crash. Suddenly, I was walking through platform 9 and three quarters. The train was about to leave so I hopped on and sped through.

After a couple of minutes, I started talking with the other wizards they spoke about something called ” Quiditch”.  It sounded quite odd to me, they also started talking about what house they want to bee in, one of them said “Gryfindor,” and someone else said “Slytherin,” then after the train came to a halt. we all hopped off and saw a huge man. His name was Hagrid and he was leading us to the castle by boat and it was a stormy night so we got in the castle.

When we got in, we met the headmaster Dumbledor. He said to bring the sorting hat and a dusty old hat was wheeled in and I went first. When I put it on my head it bellowed RAVENCLAW! I walked to the table and people patted me on the back. Soon more houses were bellowed GRYFINDOR! HUFFLEPUFF! SLYTHERIN! HUFFLEPUFF! Then Dumbledore came back and told us to enjoy the feast. Suddenly magic plates came and huge piles of food came yorkshire puddings, roast beef, gravy, I was so stuffed at the end that I couldn’t eat much dessert. I ate a yummy apple tart and ice-cream. Soon Dumbledore came back and he told us to follow our house leaders to our dorms, as i was walking back my belly kept swirling so I got in bed and wrote this, and I am wondering what is happening tomorrow! I can hardly sleep at all!

CHAPTER I

One magical night,  I  ( Harry Potter) was staring at the plain ceiling with hardly anything was happening. Nothing was really happening. There was a full moon giving a silvery grin through the dark clouds, Wolves were howling and racoons scampered across the road. At the moment, in 4 Privet Drive, nothing with optimism happened in a long time. 

Shadows pranced and danced like ballerinas in the majestic moonlight. It was a bit like being in a prison cell with nothing to do. But with only a bright room full of happy memories floating like ghosts.

CHAPTER II

Feeling very blank, I gazed at the moon with complete ponder. In a sudden, screeching and flapping with no rhythm at all came a parliament of owls. Will I be attacked by owls? Will this be the end of my life?

Within a blink of an eye, I hid under the cosy duvet. As fast as I cold I yelled my prayers.

Flapping and screeching stopped, so I decided to once more gaze out the window daydreaming. The owls were inside. I froze. Then an owl that was using his talons gave me a letter from Hogwarts.

What will happen to Harry Potter now? It is now up to you entirely.

Clean your pets’ cage out thoroughly once a week using pet safe disinfectant. If your dwarf hamster only uses one area of the cage as a toilet then clean daily. Cleaning can be stressful for hamsters because it removes familiar scents so put a small amount of unsoiled nesting and bedding. This will keep your hamster happy.
