On Christmas  Eve , when everyone is asleep, Mog was having a nightmare. He flicked his tail and rapped his tail around Christmas lights and pulled them down. 

As the lights fell ,the books tumbled into a ball ,the ball rolled off the bookshelf and landed on the stove and revolved onto Mog and woke him up. The lights turned on with a flash. Mog spotted smoke coming from the oven. He opened the oven door and a load of smoke came puffing out,he also turned on the stove by accident. The chestnuts popped like fireworks and smashed Chinese plates and jugs of milk. The long table cloth fell on the floor with their dinner on the top of it. Mog jumped on to the clock and then the clock fell on the Christmas tree and it was wrecked. He dialled the phone (999) and rescued everyone.

The fire brigade put out the fire and spraied the turkey. Mogs family thought that Christmas was wrecked but their neighbors shared their Christmas with them. Mog got his egg.
